Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne are among the best players to ever play for the Ducks, and the duo cemented their status as legends when they were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame together on November 13. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Kariya was drafted fourth overall by the Ducks in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft and won a pair of Lady Byng Memorial Trophies with the team. A three-time NHL First All-Star Team player, he played nine seasons with the team and six more with the Colorado Avalanche, Nashville Predators, and St. Louis Blues. He retired in 2010 with 989 points in 989 games.

Selanne, meanwhile, played a combined 21 seasons with the Ducks, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, and Winnipeg Jets. He won a Stanley Cup with Anaheim in 2007 and retired in 2014 after 21 seasons in the league in which he recorded 1,457 points in 1,451 games. He won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie in 1993 after scoring 76 goals with the Jets, and won the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy as the league's leading goal scorer in 1999.
